American University Kyiv has published its first scholarly monograph authored by a member of its academic team. We are truly proud that the AUK Library was involved in the publication process of this work, written by Serhii Tytenko, Associate Dean of the EPAM School of Digital Technologies.
The monograph, titled "Ontology-Oriented Content Management Systems for Educational Web Portals", focuses on the development of intelligent web-based systems to support lifelong learning. It provides an overview of intelligent learning systems, explores the formal and architectural foundations for their creation, and pays special attention to interactive tools for visualizing subject domains, such as concept maps and knowledge graphs.
Mr. Tytenko’s colleagues, students, and postgraduate researchers attended the book presentation. Special guests at the event included Volodymyr Haidarzhi, Head of the Educational and Research Laboratory for Computer Modeling in Energy Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, and Oleksandr Gagarin, Associate Professor at the Department of Software Engineering in Energy Systems at the same university.
