The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has published the updated List of Ukrainian scholarly journals in Category B, compiled under new regulations. The revised criteria strengthen requirements for publication quality, editorial transparency, peer review, academic integrity, open access, and the reliability of journal information. The updated List includes 1,298 scholarly journals and will remain valid from 1 June 2026 to 1 June 2029. Following the submission of applications through the URIS system, the Ministry reviewed documentation, journal websites, and editorial policies, while the Commission on Publication Ethics assessed compliance with the updated requirements. Particular attention was paid not only to declared policies but also to their actual implementation in published materials.
